Divarni Groce-Balogun is a British-born, professionally trained actor who studied performing arts and drama in high school before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada. He is experienced in film, television, theatre, and voice-over work.

 

His breakout role was as a “Blood Witch” in Half Bad, produced by Joe Barton, Andy Serkis, Jonathan Cavendish, and Will Tennant. He has also appeared on ITV’s Celebrity Dinner Date (Season 11), featured in The Marvels 2 (Disney/Marvel), and starred in Riches written by Abby Ajayi. His theatre credits include playing Link Larkin in Hairspray at the Brookside Theatre. He’s also appeared in the Netflix ‘ Bridgerton’ series and the most series of Married at First Sight.

 

Divarni is also a successful model and has worked with major brands including Calvin Klein, Vogue, and Nike.

 

Beyond acting and modelling, Divarni is a classically trained pianist and a recording artist, professionally known as Ashley Wright. He owns his own music company, produces his own tracks, and writes his own music. Since returning to the UK, he has performed headline shows, including at Pop Brixton.

 

Divarni continues to develop his craft both on and off screen, building his career across acting, music, and fashion.
